I just changed the belt on a Fisher paykel deo8-us2. I reassembled the unit but now the unit won't turn on. I have power coming into the selector switch, into the motor and the idler spring switch is activated

If so, I suspect you may have pulled a wire of the door switch.

RobI havent fixed the problem yet. My door switch is good. The switch had continuity and i had 124 volts going to the switch.

I can etill only think that this is a wire somewhere that has come loose.

If it was working ok before, changing the belt shouldnt affect anything else.

Start at the motor and trace every wire, gently tuggu=ing each wire
