Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

Do you have a Volt-Ohm meter and know how to use it ? to be able to do any testing on the dryer.

I don't, but I was looking some stuff up on youtube and it appears that I may need to get one

Yes if you want to do ANY testing at all you will need a meter.

Once you get one the first thing to check is the voltage coming into the dryer , if it is good then you need to test all three thermostats to see if they have continuity and then test the heater for continuity also .
