Can you try this,

remove the hose from the main body.

Turn the machine on.

Do you have good suction where the hose fits onto the main body?

Apologies, I mis read the model number

Remove the floor tool and the extension wand, then see if you have good suction where the extension wand fits. Does the motor still make the normal noise?
