The very top picture......remove the screws, lift up on the back of the panel and slide back.
No, just those. The top will not lift at the back and slide now?
Are you sure you removed the correct screws? Can you post a picture of the back of the top panel?
There is nothing else holding it in place. Can you slip a flat screwdriver in between the top and back and see if it will gently pry up?
I am not sure then, it has to be something wedged somewhere. There is nothing else holding it. No sliding back at all?
It must be stuck underneath on something then, there is no other way to get it off.
