Kelly, the diagram is for removing the front control panel, not the top cover. I need the top cover removed to get to the cold water valve. Thanks
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

The very top picture......remove the screws, lift up on the back of the panel and slide back.

I had removed the four screws (2 each) on the two clips that attached to the back of the washer that secured the top. Are there additional screws that need to be removed?
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

No, just those. The top will not lift at the back and slide now?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No, it will not budge.
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

Are you sure you removed the correct screws? Can you post a picture of the back of the top panel?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I will be right back.

Thank you!

Kelly, I just sent it.
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

There is nothing else holding it in place. Can you slip a flat screwdriver in between the top and back and see if it will gently pry up?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I tried that earlier. No luck.
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

I am not sure then, it has to be something wedged somewhere. There is nothing else holding it. No sliding back at all?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No. It will not move back at all.
Expert:  Kelly replied 1 year ago.

It must be stuck underneath on something then, there is no other way to get it off.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Thanks... I will get a tech out.

I understand, thank you.
