Need Appliance Repair Help? Ask a Technician for Answers ASAP
Hi, when this happens it means the touch pad senses a stuck or shorted key. The only thing you can try is to unplug it for 2-3 minutes to possibly reset the dishwasher. If it resets, great. If not, the touch pad needs to be replaced. The repair on average costs roughly $250-300 dollars. if you're extremely handy, you could make the repair yourself for about half that.

Your touch panel is likely experiencing a failure. You may need to replace the control panel but there is a trick you can try first. Turn off the power to the appliance. Use a hair dryer to heat the panel up until very warm while rubbing firmly over each of the buttons. Often times, this will restore operation. Be sure to get the panel very warm but not hot enough to damage the plastic. If this does not work, the panel will need to be replaced.
