Hello, more than likely one of the burner switches is stuck on. There is a switch on each burner that activates the sparking, if any one of the switches goes bad and gets stuck on that will happen. This can be difficult to narrow down as it requires you to typically work with live electricity to unplug each switch one by one to see which one stops the sparking. Then you will know the bad switch on the unit.
