Customer Question

We have a GE side-by-side PFS22SISBSS refrigerator. The food in the refrigerator is consistently freezing and the freezer often is above temp and starts to thaw the ice. I have looked at the damper assembly, which is a long panel at the center of the back of the inside of the fridge and it looks like the rectangular door is in the open position. Thoughts?

The damper door is likely broken they almost always break and stay in the open position causing that issue, I would replace the damper on it and it should work fine again.
