Hello from JA
My name is Woody.
I will be glad to assist you today.
I have been servicing ALL Major Brands of Appliances for 35 Years,
and have over 100,000 in home repairs and over 80,000 internet repairs under my belt.

Can I please have the Full model number of the unit to better assist you ?

Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Hi Woody
The full model # ***** ***** As you will see, this unit has a square front door. There are 13 accessible screws on the back of the door that appear to allow the door to be taken apart. There is one other screw under the locking latch that is not readily accessible. I cannot see how to remove the door latch without breaking it. As noted earlier, there is dirt and dry water on the inside of the front glass that I am wanting to clean. How it got there I have not figured out yet. I don't think the door seal would cause this problem. What do you think?

I`m not sure where you are getting this number from MNBW1W but that is not a Maytag model number !

It look like part of one but not a full number.

Even Maytag says not such number !

The model number should be on the inner face frame of the washer once the door has been opened

Here is a link that may help you find the correct full number.
