Ice maker stopped lights on the optics. Replaced

Customer Question

Ice maker stopped lights on the optics. Replaced optics, solid red beam, and the no lights. If I power off the refrig and power back on, light sensor returns for a short period of time and then nothing. No water in icemaker

Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem. My name is ***** ***** I look forward to helping you! If the optics are new, the issue likely lies with the module on the ice maker. If you look at the fingers that eject the cubes, are they facing toward you and at a slight upward angle?
