I am installing an extra damper in the exhaust pipe. No one

Customer Question

I am installing an extra damper in the exhaust pipe. No one is able to tell me where it should be installed. Should it lay vertically or horizontally? Should it be near the shingles or the ceiling in the house?
Also I see upon initial installation there are two 45 degree angles back to back. Is this ok or should there be a distance of pipe between the two angles?

I'll send over an option if you wanted to speak by phone about the issue since this is an installation question and a phone call would make this much easier for you to explain your issue to me.
