I have a Maytag performa, bottom freezer, making intermittent buzzing noise, about 30" long every few minutes. Not cooling efficiently at all

Hello, this is Dave. When you get it pulled out listen to see if the compressor is running. That is the large black motor. It should be very hot and humming and the fan should also be running. Let me know what you find.

It is hot, can't say it's really humming. The buzzing noise is either from it, the compressor, or directly in front of it. The fan in the compartment next to it is running quietly.
