Customer Question

I just removed a drain pump in my whirlpool dishwasher and when I went to reconnect the wires I noticed another wire and connection exactly like the one from pump and it was hanging right next to the pump and inlet valve. I could see that the wire went to the inlet valve solenoid but now I'm not sure which wire went where. Does it matter? The connections and wire colors are exactly the same.

There should be 2 wires going to the valve and 2 wires going to the drain pump. It doesn't matter which wire connects to which terminal on either part, the polarity can be reversed and it won't affect how the part works.
