I have a Fisher-Paykel bottom freezer unit; bout 6 years old.

Customer Question

I have a Fisher-Paykel bottom freezer unit; bout 6 years old. It makes what I can only call an intermittent groaning sound; like pressure is leaking past a check valve or something. It is not constant. The sound last for a second or so, and repeats every 15-20 seconds. Ever heard of that issue?

Hi, does it happen right after the compressor starts or when it shuts off?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Actually I figured out the problem, and it wasn't the refer. Embarrassed to say what it was. Thanks anyway.
