I have a brand new Whirlpool double oven, model WO51EC0AS01.

Customer Question

I have a brand new Whirlpool double oven, model WO51EC0AS01. Some foil was placed in the bottom of the oven that adhered to the porcelain surface. When I tried to clean it, the porcelain began chipping off with the foil.
I am trying to find a high heat paint repair kit. When I called the manufacturer, their advice was to get a new oven.
Is there another alternative. This oven is literally 4 months old.

Thank you!
You could use a liner touch up paint if it was not a self cleaning oven .
The self clean temps will not allow the paint to stay on the liner (in self clean the interior of the oven reaches a temperature of 1,000 °
And on this model the oven liner is not a replaceable part, so it can not be replaced.
Just what the manufacture has stated.
The only thing you can do is one of two things .
#1 just leave it like it is ,,it will not affect the oven operation at all.
#2 Purchase a new oven .
when the oven came from the factory they had a hanging tag that states to not put anything on the oven floor.
