Hi, the water valve on the back is a dual valve. Both the solenoid for water at the door and ice are on the same valve. What position are the fingers that push the ice out of the mold in? The fingers should be level with the horizon. If not, the issue is most likely the ice maker. Check the fill tube where the water enters into the ice maker. Sometimes the fill tube will freeze. Take the hose off the back that runs up to the ice maker and blow through it. It should be clear. If not, defrost is and replace the valve. When the valve does not shut all the way this can happen. You can either pour water into the ice maker mold and wait 24hr. If the ice maker cycles, the water valve is bad. If it does not cycle, the ice maker is bad. You can also remove the very front of the ice maker and manually jump the ice maker with an insulated jumper wire. Once the front is off you'll see the holes. Jump the two holes labeled M and N. When the cam starts rotating pull the jumper out. That will send the ice maker into a manual harvest cycle. You can also jump L and V to send 110v directly to the water valve.
