How can entire lint pathway in Bosch "nexxt 300" model

Customer Question

How can entire lint pathway in Bosch "nexxt 300" model dryer. Interior lint trap cleaned as well as exterior vent. "Lint filter" light comes on and dryer will not start. Could this problem be due to a sensor or a blocked lint pathway in machine?

If the dryer won't even start, the problem isn't a blockage. If you had a blockage, the dryer would run for a bit before it shuts off and determines there is a problem. That means that either your thermistor sensor is bad or the main control board is bad. The sensor is mounted down inside the lint filter housing and is incredibly difficult to access because the top panel, the back panel, the entire drum must be pulled out the back to access the lint filter housing to replace the sensor. If that doesn't fix the issue then you need a new main control board.
