Hi Maytag Man, My Maytag Centennial Commercial Technology

This answer was rated:

Hi Maytag Man,

My Maytag Centennial Commercial Technology Washer works perfectly, that is, except for this noise that eminates from the very last spin cycle on the "Regular" cycle only. What could this be? Will I be able to replace it because I couldn't possibly afford a repair man at this time.

Thanks for your help with this problem.

Can I get the complete model number of the washing machine?, ALso describe the noise you are hearing please?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

The complete model # XXXXX I can tell is MVWC300VW1; Serial# XXXXX; Type 11-07

Hope this helps. If not maybe you could direct me to another place to find the model #.

The model is good, what is exactly does it sound like the noise?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Sorry, sounds like the basket is going to fall out of the washer, then it stops. On a couple of occasions some of the clothes have be pretty damp. Of course, this only happened when the kids were using it!

Does this noise ever happen between the first wash and the first rinse?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

No. Only on the last rinse on the Regular cycle. I haven't been using that cycle but I like it for towels, sheets, etc.

Does it sound like a rat a tat tat sound?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.

More like a freight train coming through the garage. Then it stops within 45 seconds.

You most likely have a bad drive block causing the noise, you can order a replacement for it by clicking on the blue link below. on the same link there is a video you can watch to see how it is replaced..
