So this white on your clothing is just caused from build-up of detergent and such over time inside the washer. There is a product called "Affresh" that you can put inside your washer once a month to completely clean out your washer if you run an empty cycle. If you do this monthly, you won't have problem in the future.
As far as getting the current clothing clean right now, the best option is to just run a cycle without any detergent and extra rinse cycle selected. You may need to run 2 or 3 cycles to remove the build-up, but it will come off if it's not a bleach stain or something like that.
