My refrigerator, Mod GI6FDRXXQ06, is giving a loud beep, every approximately 5 minutes. Can you suggest what could be wrong. Doors are all closed and everything else seems to be working fine.

Do the temps seem normal to you inside the freezer and fridge section?

Yes, the temperature panel is showing 38 F

Let us try the simple route first, remove all power to the unit for 5 minutes and plug it back in, see if the beeping stops, it may be a minor computer glitch causing it, if that does not reset the unit, we can go through the complete diagnostics of 37 tests that can be pulled on this unit. Let me know...???

Oops! I still got the beep with the fridge unplugged! Tried the stove and the mw. Finally discovered it was a new cell phone causing the beep!
