Trying to change the dog ears on my Maytag washer. It has a spline shaft, causing the dogs to not be readily accessable. How do I get to them?

Thanks for counting on us to help with your appliance problem. My name is Kelly and I look forward to helping you! Those dogs are not designed to be replaced individually. Even if you did gain access to them, they are not available to replace by themselves. You will need to replace the agitator assembly, available below.

Please let me know if you have additional questions or need clarification. There is no additional charge for any follow up help!

I may be able to find a less expensive retailer if you would like me to research, or even locate a used part!
