I have an electric range self cleaning ceramic cooktop stove

This answer was rated:

I have an electric range self cleaning ceramic cooktop stove that just suddenly just switched off. We checked the fuse and it has been tripped. We reset the fuse and it all came back on but now has done it again. This time there was a popping noise. Do you know what can be causing this?

When does it pop the breaker on you?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
when i had the cooktop and the oven going at the same time
does it do it immeditatly or does it take a little time for the breaker to blow when you use both?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
it takes a little time before it goes
This sounds like a bad breaker in the breaker panel, normally the breaker will blow immediately when there is a problem with range or oven, Even though you have not had any problems until now, I would replace the breaker with a new one, they do wear out with age
