Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

So there are only 2 reasons why the washer wouldn't unlock the door. One reason is that the washer didn't drain the water out. If that is the case, the lower front access panel needs to be removed so that you can access a 3" diameter plastic drain cap. Unscrew this cap and drain all the water out of the washer. Make sure to have a wet vac and lots of towels when draining the water out so you don't damage the floors. Now if you plug the washer back in and the door won't unlock still, you have a bad door lock. To manually release the door lock, you'll need to pull the washer forward and unplug it. Remove the screws coming in from the back of the top panel and the top panel will pull straight back, up, and off. Now on the right side of the door way is a door latch with a plastic prong hanging down from the bottom of it. You'll need to use a stick or something and pull down on the plastic prong at the bottom of the latch to manually unlock the door so that it will release, then you'll need to replace the door latch.

As for the washer not draining. If you find that it's not draining, clean out that drain catch and restart a new cycle. If you get the same problem again, the drain pump itself would need to be replaced.
