Randy 43 :

Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX iam happy to help you with your question today..do you have a model number ? so broil and all top burners work except bake ? thx

Randy 43 :

model number is XXXXX around the storage drawer area

Customer:

Yes. Model # XXXXX

Randy 43 :

thx , if you put the stove into bake can you see a slight orange glow on the bottom thru the openings in the bottom oven floor ?

Customer:

Lemme check

Customer:

yes.. orange glow

Randy 43 :

ok but no ignition after a few minutes?

Customer:

it appears to be on.. in the 3 min I was there.. got up to 110 degrees

Customer:

seems like it just shuts off at 185

Randy 43 :

so you can hear the flame /gas ? or is it just glowing orange , because that will provide some heat

Customer:

I don't think so.. just orange glow

Customer:

hard to hear.. but I see no flame

Customer:

It did work for the last year

Randy 43 :

ok , that is what happens when the ignitor gets worn out , they just glow orange and are not strong enough to open the gas valve properly , they work on amperage and over time wear down , the glow provides a little heat ,but after about 45 seconds you should see a flame , if it has been 5 minutes then the ignitor is worn out ,and you would need a new ignitor
