Hello, my name is XXXXX XXXXX iam happy to help you with your question today..do you have a model number ? is it both and bake that wont heat ? do the top burners work?thx

Customer:

top burners work mod # XXXXX turn bake on and the bottom element wont come on .

Customer:

got 120 going to each side of the element . just no 240 accross

Randy 43 :

does broil work?

Customer:

you would ask the one thing i didnt check. the broil element got hot when the bake was oni assumed it worked

Randy 43 :

if you got 240 to the clock but not across the bake terminals ,im pretty sure the relay on the clock is bad ,especially if the broil works ,you can swap the blue wire off the broil relay and the yellow bake wire off the bake relay and see if the bake element comes on when you press broil ,if it does? then the clock is bad ..

Customer:

kind of what i thought . many thanks
