turned ref on at night next morning was at 35' next day it was 45' third day it was still running but 60' tried on gas it went down to 45' several hours later it was back at 60' i think heater is working refridge is warm on top on both gas and electric can it be recharged?
Thanks for using this service.

If the heater is working it may have a leak. If you see any yellowish stuff out of the tubing that would be a big problem. These units can not be recharged and have to have the entire system replaced. They do fix them but the tubing and everything comes as one unit. You may have an ammonia smell as well. If you can look at the tubes coming out of the generator that go to the cooling unit. If those look all corroded it is leaking. If so you need to take it to an authorized center to have the work done since you need special tools and licensing to do the repair and replace the cooling unit.
