This answer was rated:

My kenmore dishwasher(NNN) NNN-NNNNcomputer controls won't go to normal wash. They blink only on pots and pans and hi temp heat.If I push cancel/drain it lights and drains once but then reverts back. to PP+ HT. There might be a code to reset the computer the manual didnt say what it is.
Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

That model number you have listed isn't pulling up. Can you check the model number again so that I can better assist you? It should belocated on a sticker around the frame of the dishwasher. I think it will start with 665 . XXXXXXXXX

maybe this is all bogus. i have found this exact kenmore umber online as a valid number. are you a fake who took my 15 dollars?

I'm not "a fake", but there should be 3 more numbers in front of the numbers you gave me. The numbers you gave me are just a partial model number. The "partial" model is correct, but I need the other 3 numbers to look this unit up.

the only thing there is after that number rev. A. I just looked it up online and they have the same model described as such so ...

Please try to look it up on You will see that it does not pull up because it's not a full model number. There is ALWAYS 3 digits, a decimal, and then 7 digits after that. You're missing the first 3 digits so it will not pull up and it's usually 665, but not for this unit I've already tried that.

Thank you. I understand the problem. There is no number and no space for any number before that on the sticker. only REV. closer to the end of the sticker. Any other options? My faith in mamind is already slipping...why would kenmore do this.

we're going to need to figure out the model number to see what can be done. Please take a picture of the model tag, the control panel, and the inside of the tub below the bottom rack so I can try to figure out what model you have. There is a paper clip button over the text box you can use to attach the pictures, or you can upload them to and send me a link to the part and then I can see what you see.

Thank you for your patience with me. It's severely frustrating for me after so many challenges. I couldn't figure how to get them to you and don't want to keep you waiting..

The front panel has the left to right plastic film with this sequence pots and pans, normal wash, water miser, china cycle, quick rinse .... way to the right then high temp, air dry high temp, over farther right vertical buttons windows for wash heat dry clean , and then window button 2,4,6 for delay hours then way over start, cancel,

I rememberr now my husband said the sticker on the inside top ledge of the front load door wasn't the model he thought....maybe once you pull it out it is way behind the back. If he couldn't, and he was a computer and handy guy....

it is the simplest kind there is whn compared to other mahcines of about 10 years ago. should I just get a new one? NOT kenmore jerks tho.

so the 2,4,6 delay sounds like your unit is made by Frigidaire or Maytag (not Whirlpool like most Kenmore units). The blinking lights would mean you have a bad control board on either of these style units, if resetting the circuit breaker won't reset the issue, then I would probably replace the dishwasher because it will be expensive to fix no mattter what, and you may need to contact sears to get the full model by entering the serial number into the data base or something like that. Either way, the repair would likely be about $250 and a new dishwasher of the same quality would be about $350 or so.
