Hello, Thank you for using this service, I will be helping you with your problem today. can you get us the full model number of the machine itself ?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

where do I find number (not my machine)

usually inside the door on the side where the hinges are. there should be a tag
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

either WFMC544suc17984268 OR

okay perfect, now on this fault code is there a number after the E ? like E:01 through E:24 ?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No just E:

okay lest see if we can pull up the last error codes stored in the machine. rotate the cycle selector know to OFF enter test program, push and hold the spin selection and delay start buttons at the same time. Then rotate the cycle selector knob CCW to permanent press cold position. Hold the spin selection and I start buttons until P:01 shows in the display. Let me know if this goes into the test program.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

did not go into test program

okay thats not good. it means the control has failed. that would account for the bad error code. heres a link to the control module you need to order and replace to fix the issue.
