I have a GE refrigerator from 1960 model number TC424VG serial number NV670207 can anyone tell me the cu ft of this refrigerator.

Hello, Thank you for using this service, I will be helping you with your problem today

good afternoon. you don't count the first 4 in this so the cubic feet is 24.

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

what size compressor would be used for this refrigerator.

to be honest I'm not sure. you see they went from r22 freon in that refrigerator to r134a in newer refrigerators which means you would need to convert this is most cases so I wouldn't have that info. is the original compressor in it still ? if so is there a number on it ? maybe I could cross reference it if there is.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

it has a tag with WR91X4

sorry no cross reference for that from what I can see. does it say what kind of compressor it is .? (make )

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

only other marks i see is 92Na219VM WA8V

sorry nothing comming up. this is old and most of the records are no longer available. not even the model number comes up. the only thing I can tell you is when you get the old one out take it to an appliance parts store and see if they can match it up. they sometimes have older books that may have a cross reference in.
