I,m switching out an electric stovetop for a glasstop. how is the glasstop held on to the countertop? In other words I don't want to crack the glass removing it!

Every install is different but most the time they just silicone around the edge of the glass where it touches the counter top. You would just need to cut the silicon with a razor blade.
