Whirlpool Cabrio 7800 dryer expels moisture on the floor at front of dryer while drying heavier loads. This is a fall hazard on our tile floor. Dryer runs and drys clothes well. Door seal is not leaking air. Please advise what the issue might be.
Hello. Thank you for choosing Just Answer. I will be helping you with your question today.

Most the time this happens it is because the dryer vent that goes to the outside of the house is clogged. The dryer pushes the moisture out the vent to outside. When the vent gets clogged it has to evaporate the air and the moisture builds up around the dryer.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Dryer is 21 months old. This began about 6 moths after dryer was installed. Is has slowly gotten worse - but just on heavy loads such as towels.

Is there anything else that this could possibly be?

Vent is flex metal type for only about 15 inches from dryer to wall.

Does the dryer sit on an exterior wall of a house. If not the vent runs through the walls of the house and the lint builds up in the walls. This is the only thing that would cause the moisture.
