whilpool dishwasher mod # XXXXX u 1 5 0 0 x t l s 2 ser # XXXXX p 3 8 0 7 5 6 8 compl was that it flooded the kitchen. i ran it throu a cycle and about two third of the way through it over flowed . put into drain,pump came on but the water was still coming in and did not stop,even when i unplugged one terminal. could this be anything other thaqn a water valve ?. never seen one do that. even triggering the fill switch didnt stop it, help!!

good evening. Actually its not that uncommon for this valve to fail and stick in the open position. if the switch (float) was tripped and that cut the power off to the valve the valve has failed. you need to replace it.
