I have a HVM1750DP1WW model manufactured in 10/11 and acquired in 12/11 which has started making a low pitched grinding noise. It seems to microwave fine and the turntable seems to move. I am concerned.
Does the unit still heat properly?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

are you able to turn the turntable off on this model?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

yes. I turned it off and the microwave worked fine. Then I truned it back on and, so far, it hasn't made the weird noise again.

ok so would you say it was coming from the turntable ??
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I think so. Do you think just turning it off and on took care of the problem?

Probaly not it might have stopped it for now but if the turntable motor has started to make noise it will come back

Here is the info on the part incase you do need it later.
