I have a waring mx1500 that keeps shutting off after 4-5 seconds. I've tried reprogramming it and set default as well. What can I do?

Hello Sir or Madam and thanks for choosing the Appliance category.

Reset the controller as follows:

  • Turn off the unit.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • ----- Wait 20 minutes. -----
  • Re-apply power.

  • If no change come back and we can determine if the motor is overheating or the circuit board needs repair.

Unplugged it, followed your directions. Same problem.

  • When you say it shuts off after 4-5 seconds does that mean the motor only turns off or does the display also go blank.
  • Does the display act like it is still running the program or does go to idle mode?
