I have a dishwasher bosch fd XXXXXXXXX it is 17 months old.

Resolved Question:

I have a dishwasher bosch fd XXXXXXXXX it is 17 months old. It is giving me an error message E24 . I have checked and cleaned the filter and pump cover. If I by hand with a sponge remove the left over water ( about an inch in filter area), it will run thru a cycle completely. The next time I use it , it starts for a few minutes and then turns off. Is it a sensor, pump, waste line? Help

Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX forward to helping you today.

E24 is a drain issue for sure.check the drain hose for a kink since you already checked the filter and drain well. if this problem still continues then usually its the pressure switch thats bad. also make sure your drain pump itself is good. remove and clean the drain pump if necessary.
