Hello, and thank you for using this service. I'll be helping you with your problem today.

So are you saying the dispenser stops functioning sometimes? Is there any sign of life on the dispenser when then happens?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
you can dispense water, but it is not possible to select crushed ice or cubes. It is also not possible to adjust the REF. temperature.
Also "power freeze" option light is off and unanvailable

ok so then that isn't a problem with the main control board, that is a problem with the dispenser control board for one reason or another. You can try to unplug the refrigerator for 60 seconds to see if the electronics will reset. If not, then you'll need to order and replace the dispenser display control board in order to fix the issue.

last time it happened I only unplugged the refrigerator for a few seconds. It happened again in like four hours.

To be sure hast it to be unplugged more than a minute?
Expert:  Tyler Z. replied 5 years ago.
it doesn't usually need to be unplugged for more than a few seconds, but it's best to give it 60 seconds just to make sure that it has time to clear the memory and drain the residual power in the board.
