okay, what you need to do is replace the water chiller. this is located behind the chiller drawer in the refrigerator section. all the sediment and chemicals from the water supply builds up and stagnates in the tubing. after a while it makes your water and ice cubes taste bad. this is a common issue with these. you can order the chiller at the following link. it comes with instructions and is not to bad to change. your refrigerator doesn't come with a filter but you can buy an in line filter that connects to the waterline on the house behind the refrigerator at lowes and install that. this will help prevent future problems. thanks Bryan
