I own a Magic Chef range. It was it in my apartment in NYC

This answer was rated:

I own a Magic Chef range. It was it in my apartment in NYC when I bought it in 1989. It was working fine until Christmas eve of last year. Suddenly the oven would no longer heat up. The burners light, but nothing happens in the oven. Could it be the ignitor? Is there anyone you can recommend in New York City that fixes Magic Chef Ranges. I have gone to some of the parts sites, but don't really know what I am looking for. A name and contact info would be great. If it can be fixed for not too much money, I'd like to keep it. Thanks for you help.

Hi my name isXXXXX can help you with your issue.

Tim Alan :

90 percent of the time it is just the igniter that causes the oven not to heat.

Tim Alan :

Sears or A&E factory service is nationwide and probably the least expensive

Customer:

Thanks Tim. How do I find someone who could come and fix it? This is not my area of technical expertise. I live in New York City and have no idea who to call.
