okay, open the freezer and remove the ice auger. (bin) then hold the light switch in and press the paddle for ice, do the fork in the back turn at all ?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
No, the light just goes out.
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
okay and the auger doesn't move, do you have a volt meter? also is the flap opening when you press for ice ?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I don't have a volt meter available. The flap sounds like it is opening.
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
okay , can you see if the fork in the back of the freezer that turns the auger will move with a pair of pliers ?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
I tried turning it with pliers but it won't budge.
Expert:  Bryan replied 5 years ago.
it may be frozen. that happens sometimes, try taking hair dryer to it and defrosting it by warming it up. see if it moves. if not the auger motor will need to be replaced. heres a link to the part. http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Auger-Drive-Motor/WR60X10259/1461103?modelNumber=PSS26NSWASS
