Resolved Question:

we own a 2006 GE Profile side by side refrigerator.
Freezer is working fine.
Refrigerator periodically made a clicking sound for a few weeks, and now has quit cooling. it will not allow us to lower the refrigerator temp, which is holding around 48 degrees. how bad is our problem?

okay if you pull the refrigerator away from the wall and look on the back you will see an 8X10" cover. behind that cover is this, this is the mother board (control board) you need to order and replace it. the click you heard was the relay failing on the board. heres a link where you can order this, thanks and best wishes, Bryan
