thank you ,, snap off the end caps of the control panel, remove the screw under each, raise the control panel, unplug the lid switch and pop loose the two hold down clamps, slide the cabinet off the base and swap out the lid switch, its part number 3949238 which cost about $34 and you can get it at a local appliance parts dealer near you

I had to step away for a few minutes. The video was to remove a lid switch. I can test this out until tomorrow. The video was very helpful. However, if it is not the lid switch what else might it be.
