We have a Whirlpool duet Steam washing machine, model WFW9550WW00.

Resolved Question:

We have a Whirlpool duet Steam washing machine, model WFW9550WW00. Our problem or at least what we think is a problem is that whenever we have finished a load of wash, there is water in the fabric softener side of the dispenser. The fabric softener was dispensed, but water is there after the wash. There is nothing in the soap or bleach dispensers after the wash and we are using only "he" type products. What do you think??

Hello, my name is Dave. The disperser works on a siphoning action. Water is flushed through the dispenser and it pulls the fabric softener out with the water. Since the fabric softener is being dispensed it is not a major concern and a small amount of water is not a problem and as the manual states is normal. A service tech would make sure all the hoses are clear and depending on the amount of water the dispenser could be replaced. Please ask if anything is not clear. Here is a link to your owners manual.
