i have a maytag clothes washer pavt234aww.i ran a load of laundry and it ran until the spin cycle never drained then smelled like burnt rubber.when i tried to manually spin it maid a noise like the motor or pump was jammed. I disconnect and look under moved belt then tried again it now made a loud squealch noise and i could see on small wheel with melted rubber.on it should i replace the belt and wheeel should this fix itAnswer Summary

Hello, the pump bearing is causing the squealing noise, you are correct ,replace the drain pump and if the drive belt is shredding? it would be a good idea to replace that as well
