I have a 5 year old GE Quiet Power dishwasher. Just recently

Customer Question

I have a 5 year old GE Quiet Power dishwasher. Just recently it has started not draining the water on the wash cycle (normal wash), but if I put it on "Rinse Hold" all of the water will drain out. What do I need to do?

Can you get me the full model number from inside the machine? It will be on a tag on one of the side walls.

Okay does this drain any of the water on the normal wash at all? Or is it just full in the bottom once the wash is done?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.
It will drain the "wash water" but not the rinse water. Then if I put it on rinse hold-all of the water drains out

Okay if it drains the water from the wash but not on the rinse it means the control board has failed, there are different relays for different parts of the board that run different functions on the machine obviously when this gets to the rinse it's not going into the drain part of it, you need to order and replace the control board, you can order it at the following link, thanks, Bryan
