I have a Kenmore Tumble Action Washer Model No. 417 and it is not draining properly. I have removed the front panel and the drain hose is not kinked. Any ideas?

Hi, thanks for using Please remember, I do not get paid for my time and expertise until you accept. In the large, black rubber hose that leads from the tub to the pump is a plastic filter that often times gets plugged. You will be able to feel the filter if you squeeze the tube. If you post the model number I can get you more accurate information.

I think it is model number 417
There should be 8 more numbers after the 417...

where would I find that number?
Customer: replied 5 years ago.

Inside the door on a small white sticker. Please post only the last 8 after the 417.

Inside the number 41 hose is that filter. You will need to remove the large clamp around the top of that rubber hose to access it. Be sure to remember exactly where it went in the hose.
