Repairman1981 :

If it just clicks and has no buzz or tumble but you do get a click, your probably looking at a bad motor or motor connection. I would start by opening it up and seeing if you have power on the black and white wires going to the motor

Repairman1981 :

If you do check to be sure the connection isn't unlocked

Repairman1981 :

unhooked

Repairman1981 :

The door switch, or something like that could be an issue, however usually you will not get a click if that is occuring

Customer:

Ok, If the motor is bad what kind of expense am I looking at?

Repairman1981 :

about 180 to do it yourself, or about 300 to have someone do it

Customer:

it did buzz, but i tried a couple of times and then it did not buzz again

Customer:

still same diagnosis?

Repairman1981 :

If it's not buzzing I would strongly suggest checking the connector

Repairman1981 :

The buzzing would indicate a bad motor

Customer:

ok thank you guess i'll get busy.

Repairman1981 :

Hope it's not the motor
