The washer makes a clanging...

Hi I just got a new washer 4802 model from Miele Unboxed store. The washer makes a clanging noise from inside when going into max spin on rinse and drain until max speeds. Is that normal? should i have it looked at? it all works fine, just this metal on metal clanging sound. thanks. I live in ontario canada.

is this a brand new washer not used before?

i bought from Miele's Unboxed store so it has been used, but still has 1 yr warranty. Unfortuantely its a warehouse enviroment and customer service is minimual.

if its new or rebuilt unit then this is normal until it breaks in but if it still does this after a week then call miele and have them to send out a service tech to check the support system on it and this will be at no charge since the washer comes with a full one year all parts and labor warranty ,, thanks

I expect thumping or hitting, but this sounds like loose metal. What is it that would cause that to make it go away over time?

the pads that holds the washer still will rub down to make it looser and then the pads will not touch in order to let it spin at high speed until time to to slow down and stop the unit from spinning

According to Miele there is no pads. I guess it must have been good weed the tech is on!
