I have a new GE dishwasher & gas stove. The dishwasher model

Resolved Question:

I have a new GE dishwasher & gas stove. The dishwasher model # XXXXX XXXXX & the gas stove model # XXXXX XXXXX They were installed Jan 2010. We recently experienced a flood in our area & these appliances were partially submerged in flood waters for about 3 days. Our basement was flooded and there was about 3' of water on our first floor. I've received varying opinions on whether I should have them repaired or replaced. I have flood insurance.

Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX forward to helping you today.

have them replaced hands down ! these are going to start corroding, rusting and possibly even mold which is very bad, don't take any chances with that, have them replaced, something else could fail in them later from this also and it wouldn't be covered. hope this helps, thanks Bryan
