I have a Maytag Performa dryer Model PYE3300AYW that just stopped. There is 220v coming into the dryer and there is 110v getting to the controls but no position on the main control dial does anything.

Hi I'm John I will help you with the dryer problem.

Before this happened was it taking longer to dry a load please.

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
No, it was working normally

The thermal cut off can open if you have dried many loads without a break so I would check the thermal cut off its normally the part to replace.

if you require more assistance let me know please.

That may be it because the wife had dried several loads of heavy item, towels and a bedspread. How do I get to the thermal cutt off?

Watch the video on this it will show you how to replace the thermal cut off.

I just checked the continuity of the thermal cut off and it shows continuity. Could this still be my problem?
No not if its closed , check the door switch and the start switch in the console they should both be closed.

I have it figured out now. Thank you very much for your help.
