Resolved Question:

I have a GE Spacemaker one touch load sensing washer. It was working fine. We tried to place a new load in but the power button will not turn on. I have already checked the outlet. There is power there. What can I do next?

Plug another appliance into the outlet, if the washer still does not start you will need to test a few things.

Remove the back panel of the washer, the access plate is held on with several screws. Once off check the wire harness for shorted or burnt connection.

On the main control board on the top there is a thick wire harness that goes into the left side, test the two wires for voltage if power is present the board will need to be replaced.
