Our laundry water froze and I didnt know because all the other

Resolved Question:

Our laundry water froze and I didn't know because all the other water was working in the house. I started to do a load of laundry and I received an error. I couldn't clear it or turn off the washer so I unplugged it. I've verified that we have water going through our hot and cold pipes but each time I plug in the washer the pump starts to run and no water. I've also checked the drain line, but my biggest problem now, is getting the door unlocked so I can get the clothes out that are stuck in there. Is there a way to unlock the door? Also could it be possible that the actual washer is frozen or something? I've had a space heater on the pipes for three days now and I'm wondering if I need to call someone to come fix it? Thanks. Hi,Welcome to Just Answer, My name isXXXXX will be helping you with your appliance issue today.

Well is everything defrosted now? How warm is it in the room the washer is now? What's happened is there is water inside the washer that's frozen and this has to be completely warmed up the whole machine that is so you can restart it, if you need to open the door to get some closthes out you can take the bottom panel off underneath the door and reach up in there where the door lock assembly is in pull down on the ring on the bottom of the door latch assembly, this will unlock the door, you need to put some heaters in that room and let the room warm up overnight so everything inside the washer itself defrost, it's probably frozen in the pump and tub too this all has to be defrosted before you can run the washer again, hope this helps thanks, Bryan
